Collection on George Yeu Son Bow, 1914-2009.

The collection consists of copies of biographical information including newspaper articles, photographs, and citations pertaining to the life and career of George Y. S. Bow, many of which are laminated. Also included are CD-ROMs, typed manuscripts and bound journals pertaining to the careers of both Bow and his son, Admiral Christopher Yao. A DVD documenting the trip to China, which Connie Chow and her grandson, Nelson, made in the course of their research into George Bow's life and career is also in the collection, as is a DVD memorializing the life and career of Rear-Admiral Christopher Yao. Some of the materials are in Chinese and not all have translations included. Most of the materials in the collection were compiled by George Bow's daughter-in-law, the widow of Christopher Yao, Connie Chow.
